Versatile Speaker For Variety of Audiences
Mixing total professionalism with humor, emotion and sincerity Rob Dyer is a mix like no other. Rob’s style is real, casual, amusing, passionate and even sometimes mischievous. I have witnessed Rob engage toddlers to teens and then be completely relevant to the adults in the same room at the same time. I personally watched him facilitate a group session that included antagonistic “hecklers”. While maintaining composure and professionalism Rob quieted the group with sincere compassion and understanding and was able to challenge their prior assumptions and engage them to listen to different perspectives. What a gift he has.
I’ve watched him switch his delivery on a dime in order to relate to a group or individual according to feel of the crowd and situation. I knew Rob was rather special when I watched him present to a small group of fireman after expecting a much larger group to be in attendance. Rather than speaking “to them” he spoke “with them”, pulling up a chair close, he sat down and leaned in. He made this small group feel special and he “listened” to them as he delivered the message without making them uncomfortable. I’ve seen him have the same effect with a group of hundreds.
